Gobichettipalayam INFO

Gobichettipalayam (often simply called Gobi) is a semi-rural community in the Erode District of Tamil Nadu state, India. Major part of present Gobichettipalayam was previously known as Verapandi Gramam, and more quondam documents and records still use that name. This place is also famous for religious attractions like Pariyur Kondathu Kaliamman Temple, Pachaimalai Balamurugan Hill Temple and Pavalamalai Muthu Kumaraswamy Hill Temple. Because of the scenic beauty and cultural richness, outdoor shooting of the film industry thrives in this area.
